Original era manufacture. A black leather bodied pouch with a simple brass oval plate on its front cover. Inside, is a wooden block which has been drilled to hold 20 45-70 rifle rounds. Well marked on the front of the pouch body, Frazier's Patent 1878, made by Baker & McKenna of New York. Normal age and wear.
