Original period manufacture. US Indian War era Knights of Pythias kepi, as worn by a member of Iowa Lodge 36. Military style kepi of dark blue wool with a light blue wool top, Nice directly embroidered wire insignia on the blue wool disc and front. Silver wire chinstrap secured by two brass buttons. M.C. Lilly & Company marked interior. Normal age and wear, no real issues, tears to the blue silk lining.
