Original era manufacture. Polished steel blade measuring 32 inches in length, running straight and true. Plain finish, displaying toning and scattered spotting to the surface, no corrosion pitting. The original leather bumper is in place at the base of the blade, ornate three branch brass guard and pommel cap with a toned patina. The leather grip covering appears to be an old replacement, bound with single strand twisted brass wire. Steel patina finish to the dent-free scabbard, brass furniture throughout.
