Original era manufacture. A very clean example of the leather scabbard for the 1887 Hospital Corps Knife. Black bridle leather construction with sound stitching and a nice sheen to the leather surface. Brass reinforced scabbard throat secured with two brass rivets. Maker marked Rock Island Arsenal on the inside of the belt loop and on the back of the leather scabbard.Wonderful overall condition.
