Original era manufacture. All black leather construction, with two rows of 10 canvas loops for 45-70 cartridges. An early pattern pouch without the brass escutcheon plate on the securing strap, and a tool pouch on the side. Very clear US in an oval on the front side of the pouch. Crazed leather surface with surface dryness as shown. At the time of our purchase, the lower 10 loops were filled with 10 45-70 bullet cases, 8 are brass and are dated 87, three have tinned finish with two being dated 88, and one dated 89.
