Post Era Reproduction. This is a fine, early quality reproduction, from the estate of an old friend of ours, withwhom we shared campfires, and livinghistory events back in the 70's & 80's.If I had to guess, I would say that this is an Ordnance Park creation, and at present, represents a Custer Era dress helmet of the 7th Cavalry.It presents a nicely toned patina, looking great for display, and certainly costing less than the multiple thousands of dollars an original example would cost...if, you could find one for sale.
