Original era manufacture. Standard issue cup of the Indian War/Spanish American War era. All steel construction and presenting a dark steel patina finish. Named to one Bailey Orin P, 3rd Wisconsin, Infantry. Scratched into the body of the cup is, Orin P Bailey, H 3rd Wisconsin. Scattered denting from service use, but nothing terrible.During the Spanish American War, the 3rd Wisconsin saw service in Puerto Rico, being ordered to advance against a Spanish Blockhouse near Coamo on 9 August 1898, losing 2 men killed, and 2 men wounded during the attack.
