Original era manufacture. Black leather pouch with the swell on one side to fit the rifle tool.All black leather construction, with two rows of 10 canvas loops for 45-70 cartridges. With the brass escutcheon on the closure strap.Clear Rock Island Arsenal markings on reverse at the base of the securing strap, and very clear US in an oval on the front side of the pouch.Very sound pouch overall. Measures 7 3/4 inches in width
