Original era manufacture. Likely a Horstman contract helmet body, which is in sound condition, no cracks or dents, the edge binding is sound, with an unmarked, pliable brown leather sweatband, size marked 7 1/2. The thin leather body band is missing. Comes with a spike and base. This helmet has never had any insignia installed.
