Original period manufacture. Pliable, narrow leather strap with brass adjusting buckle and end tab. Faint arsenal markings stamped into the leather above the brass end tab, likely Rock Island. Narrow width steel snaphook which is marker marked O.B. North & Co. New Haven Ct. Normal age and wear, sound condition overall.
