Original era manufacture. A scaled-down version of the US M1873 45-70 socket bayonet. The blade shows a mix of blue and steel patina finish, and measures 16.25 inches in length, with a three inch socket measurement. Scattered areas of cleaned corrosion finish on the blade and socket, overall normal age and wear. Scarce bayonet. Blade shortened about 1/4 inch.
