Original era manufacture. A dark blue wool forage cap with a black painted leather visor with a bound edge. Black leather adjustable chinstrap secured with two brass enlisted pattern buttons. Brown polished cotton lining with a thick leather disc sewn into the underside of the cap and drawstring closure. There is an oval tag on the brown leather sweatband marked with the letters US QMG?, size tag is blurred. No moth issues to report except on the very top, showing a few small holes but hard to see. It appears that an insignia of some type was on the crown at one point. Attractive looking, tall-type crown Kepi.
