Original era manufacture. This is an assembled helmet for display/wear consisting of a mix of original and reproduction parts. As a display helmet it performs it's mission quite well. Original Ridabock National Guard pattern body of dark blue wool covered cork, with original cavalry side buttons, helmet plate, spike base, plume stem and plume. The cords are reproductions. Scattered mothing to the wool covering of the helmet, size about a 6 3/4.
