US, Indian Wars Era, Foot Artillery Overcoat & Cape

Original period manufacture. Dark blue melton wool, double breasted overcoat, with a non-removable cape which is lined in red for Artillery. Full complement of coat size brass eagle general buttons down the front, most with the letter A at center, some are pinned in place and need to be resewn. The cape also sports it's regulation allotment of cuff size buttons, each of those decorated with the letter A. Double hooks & eyes present at the collar of the coat. No serious moth issues to report, the is a repaired L-shaped tear, and some of the button holes show fraying and wear but that's about it in the negative department. Size about a 40.
