Original period manufacture. Dark blue wool top with a unbound leather visor with a painted finish. Gilt brass Signal Corps buttons which secure the chinstrap. Gold wire embroidered Signal Corps insignia on a blue wool square sewn to the front of the cap. Dark brown oilcloth sweatband with a black silk lining. Mothing as shown.
