Original era manufacture. A private purchase quality hat, of regulation pattern. Dark blue wool body, with a bound, black painted leather visor and leather chinstrap. Brown polished cotton lining with a brown leather sweatband, both are securely attached to the body of the hat. No moth issues to report. Civil War pattern Infantry bugle attached to the crown by a previous owner.
