Original era manufacture. Satin blue finish to the blade and socket with just a light amount of surface wear. Clear US proof on the base of the blade.Sound black leather frog with the large brass hook designed to fit over the top of the canvas cartridge belt. The reverse of the hook is marked RIA, unusual, can't remember seeing that marking there before. Very clean blue finished steel scabbard with no denting to its surface.
