Original era manufacture. Satin blue finish to the blade and socket with just a light amount of surface wear. Clear US proof on the base of the blade.Sound black leather frog with the large brass hook designed to fit over the top of the canvas cartridge belt. Most of the original gilding remains on the brass. Lots of the original blue finish remains on the scabbard body and blade.
