Original era manufacture. Canvas and leather construction with loops for 54 rounds of 45-70 ammunition. Watervillet Arsenal marked on the tip of the leather portion of the belt. Very clear unit markings on the reverse side of the belt to the 2nd Georgia Infantry. Very sound, no torn loops or fraying.
