Original era manufacture. A very stout example of the classic Indian War era 45-70 Carbine Boot. The body is not crushed or heavily oiled, the saddle attaching strap is sound and pliable, and the stitching is tight and not broken.Clear Rock Island Arsenal marked on its reverse, no flaking to the leather surfaces. Unit markings on the edge, B7C16, Troop B, 7th Cavalry, 16th Man.
