Original era manufacture. A clean example of this pattern carbine scabbard, with a textured finish to the leather, and a pleasing patina to the brass throat reinforcement. The body is not crushed or flattened, or oily. The top securing strap has been removed, the rear seam has opened up. Still pliable enough to allow a carbine to fit inside easily.
