Original era manufacture. US Indian Ward M1887 Hospital Corps knife and original leather scabbard.The blade is very clean, no corrosion issues, just some light scratching to the surface, with a lightsharpening applied to the cutting edge. Nickeled brass guard and pommel cap, with a turned oak grip, no cracks or chips.Watervliet marked belt loop on the scabbard, scabbard body has a brass reinforced throat, with the body displaying areas of flaking, the stitching remains quite sound.
