Original era manufacture. US M1878 Canteen with a tan canvas cover with a very clear US stencil. The canteen is complete with its original cork stopper secured to one of the triangular loops found on each side of the body. It also has the proper narrow pattern canteen strap with brass fittings. Small amount of denting to the body, one of the cleanest canteens we have ever offered.
