Original era manufacture. US M1878 Canteen with a tan canvas cover with US stencil. The canteen is complete with its original cork stopper secured to one of the triangular loops found on each side of the body. Stamped on the front of the cover is NGW (Washington) and the reverse has Spokane Co H. Normal age and wear with some shallow denting to the body and service/age staining to the cover.
