Original era manufacture. Military style  leather mounted gauntlets with a tan leather lining to the cuffs. The top of the cuffs have been nicely period embellished with extra stitching and a stenciled five point star. The gauntlets are sound, displaying light wear and minor staining from use. They are very pliable, and the stitching is sound and strong. The inside of the right cuff is named to Sgt. J.M. Webbe, 5th Cav.
