Original era photography. US Spanish American War cabinet card of a 7th Cavalry Private holding his plumed helmet. Taken by J.. Maurer, Columbia Barracks, Havana Cuba. Under magnification you can clearly see the crossed sabers and 7 on the eagle plate, minor scuffing to the surface, otherwise very clear.
