Original era manufacture. Regulation pattern enlisted five-button coat, with Infantry white sergeant chevrons, kersey blue trousers with flared cuff and Infantry white NCO stripes down the outside of each leg. Also included is a nice set of matching period suspenders, or braces as they are sometimes called. This issue quality, tailored set displays white Infantry trim adopted in 1884, until changed back to the traditional Infantry blue in 1902, the color which remains indicative of Infantry units to this day. Dark blue wool coat, 5-button front, with three, non-functioning buttons on each cuff. Dark brown wool chintz lining, with white cotton sleeve lining, two interior pockets, one on each side. There are a few small spots of scattered mothing front and back, but being that the coat and lining are both dark the spots are difficult to see. Size about a 36. Kersey blue wool enlisted trousers each with a 1 1/8th inch white wool stripe down the outer seam. Two front slash pockets and watch pockets, two hip pockets with adjustable half belt. All fly and suspender buttons are present, no real moth issues to report, saw a few small ones in the rear behind the half belt, and a few on the inside of the legs. Waist measures about 30 inches, inseam about 31.5 inches.
