Original period manufacture. Satin blue finish to the blade and socket, the locking ring moves easily. Dent free blue steel scabbard with nearly 100% original finish remaining. Large brass hook mounted to the leather frog, to allow the scabbard to slip over the woven cartridge belt, the narrow tab slipping into one of the empty cartridge loops. RIA stamped into the reverse of the belt hook, leather tab is loose on the scabbard body, typical age related situation with these.
