Item #68577 : Original period manufacture. Blue wool trousers with a reinforced seat and legs, 1/2 inch wide red wool stripe running from the waistband to the cuff on each leg for the rank of Corporal. Two hip pockets, with a half belt above, watch pocket in the front, but no front pockets. All of the suspender buttons are present, two of the fly buttons are missing. Waistband measures about 30 inches, inseam measures 32 inches, cuffs are flared as was the custom at this time. I would say these are private purchase because of the Fancy-Dan pocket linings and the flaring of the cuffs. There are a few scattered moth bites but nothing dreadful, pretty much what you would expect to see. Scarce pair of mounted trousers.
