Original era manufacture. An issue quality service hat with a removable forest green wool top. Black leather chinstrap and visor with a bound edge. Darkened alloy EGA device on the front of the hat. Complete sweatband which is 1951 dated on the underside, threads holding the band in place are loose in the front. Otherwise the hat is sound, size about a 6 3/4.
