Original period manufacture. Early Jet Pilot flying helmet as worn by US Navy pilots during the Korean War. Gold painted molded body helmet with a USN decal on its front. Boom microphone on the right side with a PJ-292 plug. Complete liner with a clear makers tag. Handwritten names of several previous owners can be seen on the lining leather. Size marked medium. Normal age and wear, no damage.
