Original era manufacture. Rear seam, swivel bale helmet with original sewn light OD canvas chinstraps, with darkened brass fittings; lot stamped 17 C. Original paint finish with no denting. First pattern USMC camouflage cover with stenciled EGA on both sides, minor snagging to the surface, no large stains or dry rot. Firestone marked liner with original paint finish. Near complete light OD canvas webbing with an unusual sweatband of what appears to be a black synthetic material. Original leather helmet liner chinstrap with magnetic buckle.
