Original era manufacture. Guard marked M4 bayonet made by Camillus, with traces of the original finish remaining on the surface of the blade, mixed with patina and cleaned surface corrosion.Sound, stacked leather grip without cracks or missing segments, the pommel lock mechanism works well on one side, the other side the internal spring is weak.  Late WWII M8 scabbard with leather tie.
