Original era manufacture. Guard marked M4 bayonet made by K.I., with a mix of steel patina finish to the blade, guard and pommel. The blade is unsharpened showing no corrosion issues. Guard marked, KI (Kinfolks) manufacture. Stacked leather grip, showing some damage to the leather segments, none are missing. The lock mechanism in the pommel works properly. 1st pattern M8 scabbard made without a M1910 belt hook attachment. Scabbard displays wear to the original paint finish and soiling to the canvas. PS marked pommel top.
