Original era manufacture. Manufactured by the firm of Wart-Stilson Co, New London, Ohio. Olive brown wool felt hat with a perforated snowflake pattern ventilation design on each side of the crown. Wide leather sweatband which is maker marked as shown. Three lines of stitching on the brim edge. There are two holes in the crown, one on the very top and the other on the right rear. Both are rather small and not too distracting. Light scattered mothing to the surface of the hat, overall it remains very presentable for display.
