Original era manufacture. Heavy cast iron cannon with about 50 percent of its original black paint remaining. Cast into the trail on the rights side is Pat'D Dec.27 1887. The barrel pivots forward to allow the insertion of a small fire cracker with a small opening for the fuze at the top of the breech. The cannon maeasures 9.5 inches in length. Now toys were toys back in those days....
