Original era manufacture. Frankly were not exactly sure what this cannon represents, one thing we are sure of is that it is quite well done. It is made primarily of wood which has a very nice original black paint finish with a brass muzzle band. The cannon measures just under 12 inches in length with an internal spring loaded mechanisim which was intended to launch a projectile down the barrel. It appears that some of the small metal components are missing, or, we haven't quite figured out how to operate it properly. A very nice old cannon.
