Original era manufacture. Swivel bale, rear seamed, non-reflective edge steel helmet, with a lot number of 1165B. Original sewn dark OD canvas chinstraps with darkened brass fittings.On the front of the original finish helmet, can be seen remnants of a Lt.Colonel decal, and on the interior of the helmet, the name Lt. Col. Pinto written in what may be magic marker. High pressure liner made by CAPAC, with dark OD webbing, sweatband and nape strap. High gloss OD painted exterior, with the same Lt.Colonel rank emblem decal at the front. Possible research potential with the name.
