Original era manufacture. A very nice blue finished bayonet with nearly 100% of its original finish remaining. First pattern scabbard with a blue finished metal body and leather frog and belt loop. Original brass US disc at center, Rock Island Arsenal marked. A very clean example of the classic Indian War & Spanish American War 45-70 rifle bayonet.
