Original era manufacture. Standard pattern 45-70 bayonet as used throughout the Indian Wars and Spanish American War. Mix of  blue and steel patina on the blade surface, with a touch of scattered, very light surface corrosion on the shank.Dent free steel scabbard with a thick original gloss black paint finish on its surface and scabbard throat. First pattern brown leather hanger and belt loop, with a plain brass pivot disc. A clean bayonet displaying light age and wear.
