Original era manufacture. Standard pattern 45-70 bayonet as used throughout the Indian Wars, and Spanish American War. Mix of blue and steel patina on the blade surface, with atouch of scattered surface corrosion. Dent free steel scabbard with a peppered surface from cleaned corrosion. Original black leather carrier with brass US rosette, sound stitching.
