Original era manufacture. Standard pattern 45-70 bayonet as used throughout the Indian Wars and Spanish American War. Satin blue and steel patina finish on the blade surface, with a touch of scattered very light surface corrosion on the shank.Dent free steel scabbard with a black painted finish, sound black leather frog, with a brass National Guard Pennsylania pivot disc.A clean bayonet displaying normal age and wear, no damage.
