Original era manufacture. Standard pattern 45-70 bayonet as used throughout the Indian Wars and Spanish American War. Very nice satin blue finish on the blade surface, with a touch of scattered, very light surface corrosion on the shank.Dent free steel scabbard with a blue finish, and light scattered surface corrosion, sound black leather frog, with a brass New Jersey pivot disc.A clean bayonet displaying normal age and wear.
