Original era manufacture. A very clean example, featuring a deep blue steel finished socket bayonet, with matching finish steel scabbard. Early pattern leather suspension, with a brass US disc.No issues to report regarding the bayonet and steel scabbard, other than some very light surface denting to the scabbard body. The leather frog remains pliable, displaying scattered areas of surface loss and dryness.
