Original era manufacture. A very clean example, featuring a satin blue steel finished socket bayonet, with a matching blue finish to the steel scabbard. The blade is very clean, with zero corrosion on the blade, only a few spots of discoloration in the blade finish. No denting to the scabbard, with a near flawless blue finish to the surface.  The large brass hook suspension to allow wear with the woven cartridge belt of the era, even patina finish to the hook and US central disc. Very sound black leather scabbard throat with very clear inspector's initials of H.E.W. One of the nicest we have ever offered.
