Original era manufacture. Tan canvas bag or pack with a clear US stencil on the flap. Correct pattern removable leather shoulder straps with brass hooks are included. The bag shows typical staining from age and use, all buttons and D rings are present, however most of the thin string button securing loops are missing. This pattern pack was issue for the US Army until the adoption of the M1910 pattern.
