Original era manufacture. Indian War pattern tan canvas haversack with two brass loops on its reverse to allow it to be attached to a leather shoulder strap.  Original unit stencil on the flap for Company K, 3rd Infantry Regiment, CT.  Normal age and wear, no damage. Repair on the reverse, with the closure strap securing buckle being reinforced.
