Original era manufacture. Bright steel blade, pommel and guard with a US and 1897 date on the ricasso. Post production serial number 268960 on the guard. The blade is bright and clean with no issues beyond light wear and use. Nice blue steel finished scabbard and hanger. Very minor marring to the wood grip surfaces.
