Original period manufacture. Bright finished blade pommel and guard with a US proof and 1898 date on the ricasso. The blade is bright with some scattered staining along its surface with an unsharpened edge. Minor denting to the wooden grips. Blue steel finished scabbard with some light denting along one edge.Post Production Serial number on the guard of 669325.
