Original era manufacture. Bright polished steel blade with a 1899 date on the  ricasso, no issues beyond some age spotting and staining to the blade surface. Steel patina finish to the guard and pommel, with some light surface corrosion, easily cleaned. Original finish to the wood grips which displaying typical light marring and denting from service use, no cracks or chips. Steel patina finish to the scabbard and hanger, no denting to mention. All in all a very clean 120 year old US issue bayonet.
